What can I say? There are simply not enough superlatives to describe what you and Nige magic’d up for us last week.
The food was sensational. Truly. We are a fussy bunch, but I have genuinely never run an event before when the food was so talked about. I should have had a whole section for it on the conference agenda.
Seriously though, none of my colleagues could get over how utterly delicious everything was.

I wanted to say a few lines about you, blistering in general and the food you were kind enough to make for us on the night of our party: You, personally, were amazing. From the initial phone-call, to your flexibility and tolerance of me and my fleeting ideas. I could not have asked for a more supportive person to have helped me with them event and I am hugely grateful. Your hard work and dedication to this project made me look great in front of my bosses. I haven’t had the courage to tell them just how much you helped me, yet.. I'm still basking in the glory! As regards Blistering as a company, again, you were fabulous. Unadulterated kindness, consideration, dedication and flexibility; all characteristics that are invaluable when pulling off an event of this size, especially when the guests are as … high maintenance… as mine were. On top of all of that, your price was breathtaking and the fact that you didn’t quibble at all about different linen costs etc made the whole experience as painless as it can be for someone organising the event (me). One last thing I should mention… you pulled this together in six weeks, from conception to event. I think that’s almost a miracle.
For the record, the food was delicious as well. The food looked great and the taste was massively enhanced by the slight smokiness that, obviously, came from the wood-fire cooking. I was really happy to see that, for a winter event, the food wasn’t just “barbequed meat”, but so delicately done that, were it not for the fantastic taste, I wouldn’t have known it was cooked in anywhere but a top-class restaurant. The feedback from all of the guests was that the food was absolutely amazing – the salmon in particular was a huge hit, as was the hog roast, and the brownies were simply divine. It’s the very poshest BBQ food that I’ve ever had. The bands were absolutely brilliant too, so thank you so much. It was a great pleasure to work with you and Emma as you were all so professional and organized, but Nick has already started talking about doing another one next year, so be warned…….!
